This study dealt with German Orientalism in Arabic literature, through several axes, including Orientalism, its concept and origins, and the impact of German Orientalism on Arabic literature, where ancient Arab texts appeared, edited with German care, since the eighteenth century. It was the first translation of Salmon Schweiger in the German language, as well as dealing with This axis discusses the characteristics of the German Orientalist school. This study clarified the relationship between Arabic texts and the German school. The study also dealt with the most important Orientalist institutions and universities that contributed to spreading the Arab scientific and Islamic heritage.
This study relied on the analytical method to trace the impact of German Orientalism in Arabic literature, followed by a conclusion that includes the most important results, accompanied by sources and references
